At Pendo & Paper, we believe that culture is one of the greatest gifts we can pass on.

Our story began with a simple     realisation. For many East African families living abroad, each generation can grow a little further from the language, traditions and stories that connect us to home.

Many children are raised in mixed-language households, with grandparents living thousands of miles away and families naturally moving between Swahili and English in everyday life.

Pendo & Paper was created to help keep those connections alive.

We create beautifully designed greeting cards, gifts and learning resources inspired by East African culture and made for modern diaspora families. Whether you speak fluent Swahili, a little Swahili, or none at all, our products are designed to feel meaningful, welcoming and familiar.
